Minimize waste and maximize profits with the WESTERN Registered Striker stainless steel hopper spreader. Built with the latest in snow and ice control technology, the Striker hopper spreaders innovative chute design and circular shutter deflector raises the bar for commercial de-icing performance. Professional contractors can control the material delivery and spread patterns as well as optional accessories from inside the truck cab. Fits 3/4 and 1 ton pickup trucks, dump bodies or flatbed trucks over 15,000 lb GVWR.

DUAL ELECTRIC MOTORS
Two instant-start, 12-volt electric motors provide quiet, reliable and independent control over the conveyor and spinner mechanisms. The spinner motor is sealed inside a weather-resistant housing, protecting it from corrosion. Gas and hydraulic options also available.

POWER OPTIONS
In addition to the dual electric motor option, the following gas and hydraulic power options are available: Two Gas Powered Options The WESTERN Registered Striker stainless steel hopper spreader is available with two low-maintenance, gas-powered motor options. Choose either the 10 1/2 HP Briggs & Stratton Registered motor or the 11 HP Honda Registered motor. Hydraulic Powered Option Providing the most available power of all motor types, the Striker stainless steel hopper spreader's hydraulic motor offers dual variable speed control and reliable operation.

CONTROLS
Dual Electric Motor Control: Enhanced dual variable-speed control allows you to precisely match material delivery and spread pattern to conditions. Four standard accessory buttons and a dedicated blast button provide optimum in-cab efficiency. Easy-to-understand, digital self-diagnostics alert the operator when the hopper is empty or when adjustments are needed, and LEDs make the controls easy to read. Its compact size compared to traditional controls fits easily into todays modern truck cab designs.

INNOVATIVE CHUTE DESIGN
Reduce material waste with this innovative chute design that delivers material to the areas of the spinner that cast it out and away from the truck, instead of back onto your bumper.

SHUTTER DEFLECTOR
The easy-to-adjust circular shutter deflector allows one-side spreading operation, providing optimal control by keeping materials away from areas they aren't needed, and spreading more evenly where they are.

CORROSION-RESISTANT HOPPER
Built with low-maintenance, rust resistant stainless steel, the hopper is reinforced with wrap-around welded joints for long-life and protection against stress.

MATERIAL DELIVERY
One of the widest in the industry, the 16 1/2" pintle chain conveyer delivers reliable, smooth, and consistent material flow to help reduce bridging. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel conveyor housing provides added strength and reliability.

SPINNER
An extra large 15 1/2" polyurethane spinner delivers a spread pattern of up to 40' and provides long-lasting, corrosion-free performance.

DUMP BUTTON & WORK LIGHT
Located at the rear of the hopper, two dump buttons run the conveyor for easily unloading excess material or quickly filling a walk-behind or tailgate spreader. Controlled by a third button, an accessory work light can be attached to illuminate the area at the rear of the spreader for better visibility when operating the dump buttons or working at the back of the hopper. *Feature available on dual electric motor models only.

DUAL SWING CHUTE
The dual swing chute design opens from either side to provide easy access for maintenance or material unloading.

DROP CHUTE
An adjustable-height drop chute accommodates both pickup truck and flatbed applications, ensuring a proper spreading height. A chute extension is standard with the 9' and 10' models, and available as an option on 7' and 8' models.

ADJUSTABLE FEED GATE
An adjustable feed gate controls the amount of material flowing from the hopper to the spinner to regulate material flow.

INVERTED V / VIBRATOR
A standard inverted V located inside the hopper helps keep sufficient material weight off of the conveyor, ensuring smooth startup and flow of material. An optional vibrator kit is available to help reduce bridging and keep material moving to the conveyor.

TOP SCREEN
The standard coated steel top screen helps break up large chunks of de-icing material during the loading process to help prevent clogging and bridging during spreader operation.

RATCHET STRAPS
Add additional spreader stability to your vehicle with standard nylon tie-down ratchet straps. An optional chain tie-down kit is also available.

ADDITIONAL STANDARD FEATURES
Before removing the drop chute, the operator can conveniently access the electrical disconnect for easy removal. A Center High-Mounted Stop Light (CHMSL) is standard to meet FMVSS requirements.

FLEET FLEX
The Striker hopper spreader is designed with FLEET FLEX technology for easy interchange between electric hopper spreaders without having to change the wiring or the controls. *Feature available on dual electric motor models only.
